Restorative Yoga poses use bolsters, blocks, cushions, pillows, eye bags, straps and absolutely anything we can get our hands on to support into deep relaxation and promote a healthy immune system, restoring your body back to balance. We all know by now the success deep relaxation can have in the treatment of high blood pressure, colitis, insomnia and anxiety, slowing the heart rate, rate of breathing and improving metabolism to name a few…, but we rarely give ourselves the space or time to commit to trying it out, let alone creating a regular practice.
